McKenzie and Aaron were one of my sweet 2019 wedding couples. I had the privilege to document their big day and what a day it was. The morning of, I woke up to storms and knew right away the worry that had to be present over the bride and groom. By the time I arrived to the venue the storms had gone and a perfect overcast was all that was left. Good thing too, because this wedding was on a working farm outside of Mt Vernon, Ohio. The grounds were full of beautiful buildings, varying livestock and picturesque foliage everywhere you turned. This rustic backdrop went perfectly with the weddings decor of vintage pieces, calligraphy script, a lace wedding dress and a bridal party wearing soft pink.
As mentioned before, Im learning quickly why wedding photographers love their job so much. You get to be a part of all the parts of the day from little to big and from shared moments to intimate moments. This couple of faith went off after the ceremony and washed each others feet, exchanged personal vows and took a few moments to be just them on their wedding day. For sunset, we took off up the hillside and did some wonderful moody pictures with a beautiful view of the rolling hills.
McKenzie and Aaron, thank you so much for entrusting me to capture your day.
