This family session had a bonus feature. Little Elliot is about to turn one so after we did some family photos we staged a cake smash in the park. This was the second time Ive seen the baby not super interested in eating the cake but this little guy defiantly loved his props. Happy 1st Birthday Elliot.Read More
For those of you who don’t know. My first love and career is nursing. Photography came much later in life. Its been an exciting and challenging creative outlet that I hope will keep growing. I mention my nursing career because it has turned out to be a really great networking tool without meaning for it too. Im meeting so many friends of co-workers and getting to experience them outside of the hustle and scrubs and its really been a treat. Molly is also a nurse and my husband used to work on the same unit as her. Her and her fiancé Tom are getting married this fall in beautiful Florida and after their engagement shoot, there’s no doubting they will have a beautiful and magical day.Read More
These two cuties are, well, the cutest. First of all they both are elementary teachers so they are a special duo in my book. We shot their engagement session at the same venue they will be getting married, Warwick Farms outside of Mt Vernon, Ohio. Its still a working farm with livestock and all kinds of beautiful shrubbery and buildings. Everywhere you turn there is another beautiful spot to take a photo. Please enjoy this couples beautiful cloudy day rural farm engagement shoot.Read More
Haley has been a sweet friend of mine now for many years. She and her fiancé Trevor are getting married in June and they are entrusting me to document their wedding day, and to say i’m excited would be an understatement. It was fun to see them in a new light while documenting their love during their engagement session and I couldn’t be happier for them. Looking forward to the big day you two.Read More

Baby Maddox has arrived and I was so excited to do this newborn shoot. His mom Chelsea had won a photo shoot awhile back and used it to do a maternity session with her two expecting sisters, which you can see here. When she reached back out to schedule a newborn session I was excited to follow up and meet the little guy, her husband and see their beautiful home. Funny story, I knew Chelsea had moved into the same neighborhood at the beginning of the year and silly me jumped in my car instead of looking up how far away she was in the neighborhood. Lets just say if the school down the street wasn’t there, I could see her house from mine.Read More
Tab and Frank are expecting their little boy in just a week and I am so excited for them. To capture this stage of their life together we did a maternity photo shoot and it was a blast. They are so natural together and Tab really thought ahead at the looks she wanted to capture. She reached out to our local florist, Florish to have a beautiful flower crown and had some boudoir styled ideas for the end of the shoot which I really enjoyed. My goal was to make sure she felt beautiful and strong when she got her images. When she got them back, In her words, she felt like a lioness. I think I love that.Read More
Ok guys, I got to spend time with Baby Greer and her sweet family again. Baby Greer, “Gigi” was born almost two weeks ago and I met her at Riverside for her fresh 48 photoshoot. She was still as fresh for her newborn shoot and the camera loved her. At one point, her parents were both giving her a kiss and I have never seen a baby more happy and content than that moment. Thank you Hall family for inviting me to your beautiful home and letting me spend just a little bit more time with you and baby Gigi.Read More
Baby Greer was born earlier this week and I had the honor of meeting her and her family during their hospital stay. I love fresh 48 photos because its the most newborn days. By one month a baby isn’t looking so newborn anymore and moving on to wonderful new looks and expressions. The tiny feet, the baby yawn everything is new and exciting and I love being a small part of these first couple days of life. Thank you Hall family for inviting me in to yours.Read More

My best friend Emily messaged me early the other morning with the long awaited text “we are heading to the hospital”. I knew she had labored for almost 24 hours at home and being baby number three, wasn’t sure how quick this baby would arrive. So I too headed to the hospital soon after.Read More
Sarah and Austin were married early January on a beautiful winter day. It had been a usual Ohio week of weather where it had recently been surprisingly, no coat warm, kind of day and by the weekend it was a white winter wonderful. This couple was so easy going and just like their rainy day engagement pictures, they went with it and embraced the wet snow and I think it really paid off. Thank you for allowing me to document your beautiful day.Read More
Emily has been my best friend since 6th grade. Not everyone gets to say that and I don’t take it lightly. God crossed our paths and we never left it. We have grown up together and are now raising our children together from just down the street. Ive already warned her husband just plan on being neighbors forever. Emily and Seth are about to have their third baby and I couldn’t wait to steal an hour to photograph her pregnancy and her family. Can’t wait to meet you baby Britt #3Read More
Karli and Edgar are recently engaged and transparently in love. They naturally were perfect at getting cozy and nuzzling into each other. They had great ideas for their in home/backyard photo shoot. We started in side with their Christmas tree, fur rescue babies and some coffee. When headed outdoors we played around with some mistletoe and danced through the hanging pine trees. I loved all the thought they put into their shoot and adored their passion for each other.Read More
Baby “Clem” is the second child and first girl to the Poll Family. If you’ve followed any of my work, the Poll family have been long time friends and my longest standing clients. I adored to come document baby Clem at home in the families new home. The nursery was perfectly styled with neutrals and bits of sweetness like stenciled stars on the wall and boho rainbow prints above the crib. Welcome to the world Clementine, you’re perfect.Read More

Megan is a dear old friend who recently married the love of her life, Joey. I was honored with the task of documenting their day. It was intimate with only close friends and family at Joeys families local church. It was neat to meet so many people who have lived on the westside of Columbus, raised their children and continue to be dedicated and call the hilltop home. Congratulations to these two.Read More
Birthday parties are the best. It's an easy excuse to make time in our busy schedules to gather, eat and drink with one another. After my girls first birthday I internally bought, ok no more big parties till the next milestone. Maybe birthday number 5? Then their second birthday approached and another big party came and went. I just love watching people love my kids.
My long time friend Brittany, featured throughout my blog history, had her son Fox's 2nd birthday party this weekend. The theme was music and couldn't have been more appropriate. I don't know another kid who loves music like Fox. If you want proof, check out her instagrams highlight video. Not only does he know how to dance, play every instrument but he has great taste in music. Happiest 2nd birthday Fox Man.
