Welcoming a new baby is a big change for everyone, especially when there’s a proud (and still very little) big brother involved. This Columbus, Ohio studio newborn session for a family of four was the sweetest mix of chaos, cuddles, and quiet in-between moments.

Their 18-month-old son wasn’t quite sure what to think of his brand-new baby sister at first. That’s completely normal & honestly, one of my favorite parts to capture. We took our time, gave him space, and worked in breaks for juice boxes and giggles between takes. Those pauses are often when the real magic happens.

Inside my Columbus studio, we kept things calm and simple: soft, neutral tones and natural light that let the family’s connection shine. The result? A collection of images that feel authentic to this fleeting season. Gentle newborn snuggles, curious toddler glances, and the beautiful imperfection of growing into life as four.
